Be warned, this has nothing to do with Christmas. It's just that I've found a minute while I wait for the marmalade to boil to look through pictures, and I realized we've never showed the continuation of the Bonner Buzz-off Saga.
Sweet Samara decided a month or so ago that she wanted to donate her hair to locks of love, too. And so, not to be out done by all my children, I joined her! It was such fun. We went to Crimson and Whipped Cream, one of our fav coffee shops right near our "hair parlor" that has a photo booth in it. We took out before pics and then went and had our friend Alex chop it off...and then we went back for our "after" photo booth shots.
While Samara was waiting for my turn one of our dear friends Brett saw us there and went and got us Boba teas to celebrate.
Samara was quoted as saying, "I never want this party to end, mom!" I think it was the boba tea and the cupcakes we had for dinner and the special one-on-one time we shared all evening.
What do you think? We are loving it. So easy. So fun. When I picked Samara up from school today a little friend said, "Your head is very similar to Samara's. You must be her mom!"
I agree, our heads are very similar these days.
I'm so grateful we got to have this experience together! What a treat.
