The second wedding of the past weekend, our sweet cousin Julie and her Chauncy...
We did the flowers for this, too, and I let Samara come over to help for a little bit. She loved it when we broke a few stems and she got to make her own arrangements!
The kids were all in this one--what fun! I made the girls' dresses with a simple A-line pattern and then lots of ruffles in different white fabrics I had sitting around.
The church was so beautiful, with the setting sun in the windows. I wished I'd hired a photographer for our family--corralling kids means that I didn't get to take the photos I was hoping to...the one above I caught when the musicians started practicing--the trumpets broke into the wedding fanfare and ilo just stopped and stared. It was such a precious moment!
This is ilo when we say, "Smile!". Awesome.
The boys in the wedding, having arm wrestling tournaments while they waited....
...and our best attempt at a family photo. Yep, there we are, all of us in the same frame!
It was a fun and fabulous celebration--a joy to be with our family, to dance and eat and talk and party together. Thanks to Julie and Chan for such a memorable family time for us all!
